Is the amount that the awning drops when extended adjustable? If not, how much is the drop?

You are able to adjust the degree of drop but if left open with snow load will have re set drop

Is there any wind resistance? If yes, how many km/hours?

Retractable awnings are rated to withstand wind up to 30-35km/hour. You open the awning when in use and roll it up when you are done using the area. It is not a good idea to leave extended awning unattended for long periods of time.

Does this awning come with roof brackets and a protective cover?

Came with wall mounts but no protective cover, in my application I did not require cover as located under eave.

Is the hand crank removable when not in use? Also, are the mounting brackets at fixed or adjustable positions along the awning?

Hi, Thank you for this question. The hand crank is removable. It has a hook at the end. The placement of wall brackets is flexible. 10'x8' awning comes with 2 brackets and they need to be secured close to the ends.
