Can this awning be mounted on to board and batten? If not, can it be mounted at a height of 8'8" The logs on our home go to a height of 8'8" from the deck with board and batten above the logs.

I would like to install an awning over my large patio. I would like to know if it is possible over a window that is about 9 inches from the facia to the top of the glass of window.

How much does this awning slope from the wall where it's attached to the full extension? We plan to attach it just over the door frame. My husband is quite tall and he wouldn't want to have to duck underneath all the time.
