Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommend Be aware of bracket placement (cannot place bracket for 3 holes around the hole which is used to secure to the wall). If you plan accordingly, you won't be disappointed. I bought with 12" pre-finished white selves and it looks fab. If you pull the bracket out on both sides will make it taut against the board. Otherwise you can shim if you need it tight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It gets the job done! I purchased these tracks along with the Rubbermaid 8 in. and 12 in Single Track Brackets to set up shelves in my laundry room. They were quite easy to install, all I used was a drill, a screw driver and a level. The only bummer is that I could not find the right width boards to use as shelves. For some reason stores only carry 7.25" and 11.25" wide boards instead of full 8" and 12". This makes a difference because the shelves are wobbly but fortunately for me it is not an issue since the items stored on them get minimal use. I don't know if the Rubbermaid board shelves fit the brackets exactly but if they do I suggest you go with those. I could not, because they don't come in the length I needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay, needs some slight redesign work I bought these uprights to do a wall-long display area in one of my rooms. The Good: Price Finish / Color - for "cheap" materials I thought the white glossy color was pretty good. They do show marks if you use a rubber mallet to tap in the brackets, but will also clean up fairly easily. Small size - easy to transport Easy to install - If you follow the instructions found on the rubbermaid website they will go up fine. The Bad: Design of bracket slots - We planned to put brackets at the very top and bottom of these uprights, so that they wouldn't show behind the shelves. However, when we got them on the wall and tried to put the brackets on, we realized something... You cannot put the brackets where there are screws. It should have been obvious, but we didn't think about this, and it kind of messed up the design a bit. Now instead of four shelves per upright we'll be doing three. Just a warning for anyone else considering using this system! Design of screw-holes - The screws don't ever go completely into the holes for them. This means that they stick out a little bit, and when you put a bracket in above them, the bottom of the bracket will get caught/stuck on the screw and it won't go all the way in. What I mean is this --- take the bottom three slots for brackets on the upright. The bottom and middle cannot be used together because the screw going into the wall is in the way of the bracket. The middle and top basically can't be used because the screw head (which is sticking out) is in the way of the very bottom of the bracket. This effectively eliminates the use of those bracket slots around each screw on the upright, greatly decreasing the configuration options.
