There were some pieces that did not go on this building that we spent a lot of time looking to see where they go. That took up more time than we like, but other than that, we are pleased.

What would be your recommendation for a base to build this on. Something I could secure it to. Gravel then top with wood frame or concrete blocks ? I get lots of snow and wind.

    Asked by: Oneshebob
Patio stones or concrete are great. Wood will rot eventually and the shed will last much longer. Bolting it down will make it very secure.

Is this rated for snow? Will it hold up to extreme weather?

    Asked by: Zbloom
This model will hold all the snow you can put on it. The steel reinforcement is excellent. We have had another built the same way and material for 15 years and have no issues at all just north of Toronto

I am curious to know how secure the shed is to thefts. I live in the city and this shed will be placed in a carport open to the back alley. I am hopeful to feel confident once purchased that no one will get in if properly locked.

    Asked by: Veebah
The construction of this shed is harder to get into than wood. The rubber made bounces a sledge hammer back at you. Pry bars don't work either

Can I install the shed on flat land, grass?

    Asked by: Mary
The main rule to follow when installing this type of shed is it MUST be built on LEVEL ground or a LEVEL base material. The type of base material is not as important as ensuring it is 100% Level.

Can this shed be attached to a concrete slab? If so how would one do it?

    Asked by: Jmartineau
Yes this shed can be attached to a concrete base. This is usually done by drilling rods through the floor of the shed and into the concrete base and bolting the shed down using same. Your local Home Depot store associates will be able to advise on best solutions for drilling/attaching your shed to a concrete base.

Instead of pouring a concrete pad, could this shed sit well on patio stones and be anchored?

    Asked by: Paul
Yes this will work but it is very important the patio stones are set up to be 100% level or the shed panels will not align and cause assembly issues.

Will a lawnmower fit in this size shed?

    Asked by: DonnaJean
It will depend on the size of the mower. The dimensions of this shed are 87 inches deep and 86 inches wide and the door opening is 60 inches wide. Your mower would need to fall within these dimensions to fit inside.
