Rated 4 out of 5 by from very powerful - heavy duty - handles any job I have had this blower for 5 years now and is the best that I have ever had. It is very powerful, easy to start, quieter than most and quite economical to use. I have about 20 large trees on my property and in the fall this blower handles the leaves with ease. There is however one issue (which is why its 4 stars and not 5) - and that is the fuel filter. After about 2 years of use, I found that the machine would die when throttling up and would only function in idle or a little higher. Through trial and error, I traced the problem to the fuel filter in the gas tank. I tried cleaning it (remove and blow pressurized air in reverse) and it would run perfectly fine (high speed) for about 4 hours of use. I then learned to replace the filter every year or so and it now runs like a new machine. Picked up a pack of 5 from Amazon for $10. Its a great product, don't give up on it. This is an easy fix. Hope it helps you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great first use saw some issues with the speed when squeezing trigger fully but after contacting technical support and finding the set screw it was at full power. I have used it for a couple months now and have moved a lot of snow. the last snow fall we had was fairly heavy and accumulated about 8 inches deep in spots. no problem clearing the snow and my driveway is 20 feet wide and 35 feet long with retaining walls on both sides so all the snow has to go out in to the street. this unit is way easier to fire up and use than a snow blower and uses way less fuel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great, On the first run.... Guys! Do not be fooled by the cheap price and great first week of use. Avoid this product! Also to reviewers come back and change your review after you get about 4-5 hours of run time on the unit! Guaranteed it will be lower. I do not typically bash a product but i have also left a message on Ryobi's website for over 2 weeks without a response! Not good... Had this item for about 1 year and in typical Ryobi fashion it is not working. Don't waste the money folks. Spend the extra 100$ and get something better... Ryobi uses the cheapest carburetors and of course do not warranty them at all. Like buying a TV that has no warranty on the screen picture.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love ryobi but this is garbage does not last I bought this a year and a half ago it stopped working and last summer ryobi had the engine fixed due to a issue with piston or head. Worked after but had issues always running. This summer I go to start it and it won’t start did plugs filter and had it looked at and shop told me it had no compression. Same issue as before. I love ryobi and this is a nice blower but not reliable. The shop they had it fixed at took 2 weeks to fix. Spend money on another brand. And I hate saying it because all my tools are ryobi and they are amazing but this is not worth the head ache. A guy at the store said others have issues with this blower. Wish it was running it had power but not reliable

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have 2 of these... Bought two last fall-registered them. Mixed fuel precisely and warmed them up to break them in properly-took them through the rev range slowly-ran them until the 'new smell' burnt off. Then used them hard on some big leaf clean-ups-thew performed great...put them away for winter by running them out of fuel and putting a small amount of oil in cylinder and SLOWLY turned over and boom started right up this year with properly mixed NON-ETHANOL fuel...they start 1st or 2nd pull everytime. Use fuel stabilizer if your fuel will sit for more than a few weeks to a month...empty it out and add it to a 4cyl lawnmower/snow blower in a 3/4 to 1/4 ratio and burn it off if you aren't going to use it for a few months...Best value in a backpack blower...just treat your equipment right and it will work as intended for many years!

We have had our leaf blower for 3 weeks, using the recommended fuel. It is now hard to start, and as soon as you push the trigger to give it fuel it stops! HELP! It’s getting worse!

Asked by: JenP
Nope both wrong... The unit is not good. Fuel is spewing into your air filter and ruining the unit. Look at the air filter it will have a green/blue tinge to it. You now need a new carburetor air filter and fuel filter. Oh and none of it is covered by warranty. I expect the unit is only a few hours of run time on it much like mine! Dont ask Ryobi as they dont respond to actual problems only issues about the unit weight and shipping....
