Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tools for everyone Another great product by Ryobi. Starts right away and last longer then indicated! I'd buy another one but this one will last a while I'm sure.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not "forced" air The fan can only force the air out of this heater past the end of the heater. Maybe 12 inches past the end if there is no wind. Bought this for keeping warm under a pop-up tent at a soccer tournament and was very disappointed. It would have been more effective putting a small tailgate grill on the ground for heat. I'm a ryobi loyalist since the first blue tools, this is the only Ryobi tool I have ever returned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heated up a 3rd car garage pretty good.. This will not heat up a large room. But it didn't have any issue keeping me comfortable in my 3rd car garage. It's very quiet. Only ran through half a 3ah battery in a few hours. Make sure you have proper ventilation.

Looking at the Ryobi Heater but I’m confused by the fact that it is operational with a battery or plug in and a propane tank. Can I obtain heat using only a battery or plugging in or do you require use of the propane tank to obtain heat?

    Asked by: Onsetsteve
It requires a propane tank. U can use a small 1lb tank and battery makes it very portable, I use it plugged in with an adapter hose(also sold at Home Depot) so I can use my bbq 20 lb tank in my 20’x10’insulated shed so I can start my lawn tractor to clear snow when it’s below -10 Celsius(won’t start when it’s cold). Works great warms the whole shed up
