Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery pack, use with many Ryobi products I have several Ryobi tools, they all use these interchangeable batteries, so an extra battery is always great to have. I find these batteries charge fairly quickly and when idol they keep their charge longer than I would have expected. The charge while in use (especially this model) lasts a long time. Some of my older Ryobi batteries (6+ years) now take longer to charge and lose some of their charge over the months, but they have done yeoman service so far.

Yet when I tried it in any of my many Ryobi One+ tools, none of them worked: battery all of the sudden did not work, nothing, dead! Why does such an expensive battery die after barely a year?? Am I just the (un)lucky one??? Any warranty on these batteries at all. Don't have the receipt any more. Any advice???

Can I use the blue NiCd charger to charge this battery?
