Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted Great tool! Easy to use. It’s so much easier than dragging my big vacuum out for small spots. An excellent bye.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Roller bar stops spinning Used this product twice in a normal house - hardwood floors, carpet and rugs. It had good suction but the dirt cup is very small and has to be emptied often. The big problem is the brush stopped spinning. The manual says if it gets stuck a red light will glow, not on mine, the white light is on, never a red. It sounds like the brush motor is still spinning but the brush is not. It was not even very dirt. I pulled the brush out and cleaned it anyway. Put it back together and the brush spins when not touching anything but stops as soon as it hits the floor. I have many other Ryobi tools that I like. This one it terrible!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stick vac without the sticker price I have been buying all ryobi things due to the fact that batterys will mix and match. I was on the market for a vac and saw it picked up at 179. It great for floors carpets and even use it on my tile. Mounts on the wall out of the way and cleaning the machine is easy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sad I have Ryobi products and I love how they are fairly priced and they work well. I was looking forward to having a cordless vacuum for my long hallways and I got this vacuum. I will say that the best thing was the charger charges really fast The vacuum itself made me very sad The suction was mediocre with a brand new filter so I would hate to see it dirty And the worst part is it's so top heavy even when I swapped out a smaller battery which makes it not stand up at all and it falls hard on the floor of you try to prop it up I'm selling mine on offerup

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Done with Ryobi Products! I bought this product just over a year ago the and brushes on the motorized floor tool have seized up. At first the I thought something had wrapped around the brushes but after further investigation it turns out the brushes ride on a plastic grommet which has melted fusing the brushes to the frame. While the rest of the vacuum still functions the floor attachment is junk. Spend your money else where!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shi* product Bought 3 months ago and never worked right. Only vacuumed for 10-15 minutes then red light came. No support or help from Ryobi. Would highly recommend buying any other vacuum. For your sake and saving money go and buy anything else. Shi* product. Biggest waste of money ever. I own 9 other Ryobi products. Biggest waste of money on this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from STICK VAC Not Ryobi's best product, lasted less than 2 years and falling apart, pretty expensive also!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love and hate in one vacuum It has been about 6 months since I bought this vacuum, and I should have listened to the reveiws more. The main frustration is two fold the canister is small and the power is lacking. While I knew the roller brush was not tangle free I am still disappointed how easily it tangles. The good news is that it knows this and stops spinning. This means when I clean out the canister again occasionally cleaning out the roller bar. While the canister is easy to dump, it fills very fast. As soon as it gets full the hair backs up in to the stick part. The first time I didn't realize it stopped picking up stuff until the entire stick was full. Since everything comes apart easily it was not complex to empty, just took time. This may be compounded by the power not being what I expected. There are two power levels and I have no idea what the lower power is for. For a tool company the power of the pick up is sad. Large gravel it won't pick up, small gravel it picks up occasionally if the canister is empty, dog food is also occasionally and recently the white carpet cleaning powered accents the design in my short ply carpet. (I went over the carpet multiple times and cleaned the canister. This was with the beater bar running and cleaned as well.) The things I love about it is that is is easy to get out, and easy to maneuver! The battery life works well for me, but I do occasionally have to swap batteries. The whole house takes about 3 fully charged 4Ah batteries. The accessories make it possible to reach every part of the house. The cqnister, filter and accessories all come apart to easily clean every corner. The hanging charger works well on my closet door which means it is always close at hand. Sort version: needs a tangle free beater bar, larger canister and more power, but I like it enough I am not returning it. (For reference I have a husky, bunnies and long hair.)

Where can we obtain the new pre-filter that wasn't included previously? I've seen it at a demo unit in-store.

Is it possible to buy the tool only, without the battery? I already have a battery.

Asked by: Devlin71
Not at this time, but you will want the battery. It comes with a 4aH battery, which you can spend pretty quick. We used this as a daily use to get suck up dog hair. It would take a full battery to do a quick once around the house.

My wife got one for Christmas but it seems to take FOREVER to charge with the included charger... Anyone else have this problem? Is ours faulty?

Asked by: Andrew
Hi Andrew, This kit comes with the Ryobi Evercharge charger, it is meant for overnight charging and charging while not in use. For faster charge times you will need to upgrade to the charger in the attached link. https://www.homedepot.ca/product/ryobi-18v-one-dual-chemistry-intelliport-charger/1000521615 . Thank you, Ryobi Canada

I own a fitness facility and am wondering if this unit would be durable enough for daily vacuuming of dust and chalk?

Asked by: Nathalie
I drilled a dozen holes in drywall and the vacuum picked up the dust very well. However I'm not sure how it will go over the long term if you have lots of dust, might clog the filter rather quickly. But you'd probably have this issue with other home vacuums. I'd also worry about the charge. My place is 600 sq feet and it looses more then half the power vacuuming that space. If your place is rather large, it may not be enough charge. Great vacuum though!

Having two labs in the house, I would like to know how this stick vac picks up the excessive dog hair and dander. My Shark Rocket does an amazing job of it, but it is corded. I need HEPA filter a on my vacuums and this doesn't mention that.

Asked by: LeeP
Hi LeeP, You would need a full size vacuum especially if you have 2 dogs. The stick vac it's more for light work.
