Rated 3 out of 5 by from QUIET BUT PRICEY FOR MODEST POWER It's quiet, it has a trigger lock and speed boost button, it uses my existing 18v batteries, it has the HP battery tech, It's pricey, modestly powerful, with a known tube end cap fitment issue (loose fit). IMHO comments about battery run time irrelevant as any half decent leaf blower will use a fair bit of energy. If you expect to get a significant run time out of a 1.5 or 2.5 ah and or a battery in poor condition here's your sign. I use it a regular 4ah for 2 short driveways, 75 ft of path, a porch and patio for less than 10 mins on boost and I don't deplete a battery. I also use it to off water which it doesn't do as well on. Claims about wet leaves might be valid under ideal conditions but not mine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed, Force lacking Fully expected the 18v to be considerably less powerful than my electric , but wanted it for morning steps, walk and car snow removal, brushed the car off night before and sure nuff had another 2 inches on it next morn. Bought it Tuesday, took it back Wed, it had no power for dusting off snow from car or steps, lots of volume but lack of mph is lack of focused power. I'll pick up the 18v Milwaukee my boss bought at the same , we tried them side by side , regretfully his won hands down. Shame , cause I have 5 ryobi batteries including the 4ah one i tried on the machine

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good machine. The Ryobi 18V, 450 CFM leaf blower works very well. I use it primarily to blow light snow from my sidewalk and driveway. For myself it’s not a replacement for my gasoline powered backpack blower, but it makes a great addition to my options depending on the volume of snow I’m trying to move and the area that I’m trying to clear. It quite light, and of course, being battery powered takes only a moment to be ready to go. I would recommend a higher amperage battery, like a 4Ah one, because as other reviewers have noted the “turbo” button is going to be on a lot.

It exceeded my expectations, I use a 6ah hp+ battery in it and I get about 20minutes of full power with boost engaged. Very impressive air movement and speed. I purchased tool only as I have many Ryobi tools, great value for the price. Trigger lock is excellent, makes long jobs easier on the hands. Very quiet and well balanced even with a 6ah battery. Would recommend to any Ryobi user in the fence of which one to get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent leaf blower I mostly use Ryobi cordless tools. This one just tops the list. Quiet and powerful. Like the turbo function. I go through several 4Ah batteries while clean the garage roof and the rest of the yard. First one came with a defective trigger switch, returned it, but the second one is perfect. If you use Ryobi cordless tools, this one is perfect around the house or on the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ryobi 18v leaf blower For the price ok product cannot go wrong. Fortunately or unfortunately I have to be biased since I am a Toro guy. It doesn’t come near my 10 year old battery Toro blower power wise. One think I give it it is much more quieter and I think cause it is brushless. Overall good product plus the extra 18v batteries which is a must are much cheaper than those 40v+ ones.

The blower is quiet compared to others. I use the 6 amp battery and have not had any issues in terms of the battery draining quickly. Keep in mind that I did not use the turbo button that much either.

I also really appreciate the trigger control knob that allows you to set the force level, it gives a good amount of precision and is really simple to use.
