The RYOBI 8 in. 18V ONE+ Pruning Chain Saw is the ideal saw for easily trimming limbs around the yard. This chain saw has a compact and lightweight design which reduces fatigue, allows for easy transportation, and storage. Featuring side access chain tensioning, quickly adjust the bar and chain while conveniently storing the combination wrench in the on-board tool storage area. This chain saw features an oil-free function to make operation and maintenance as simple as possible. The chain saw includes a SAFE-T-TIP that should be installed prior to use for safe operation. As part of the RYOBI 18V ONE+ platform, it is compatible with all 18V ONE+ batteries and chargers. The RYOBI 8 in. 18V ONE+ Pruning Chain Saw is backed by a 3-year limited tool warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from decent so long as you use it for the intended use pretty decent saw for small branches and saplings. You will have to oil and tighten the chain after 30 minutes of work. But quite frankly, this is easier to use for small projects than bringing out the full chain saw. I bought with the included battery package. That deal was too good to pass up.

So why didn't you include a oiler into the chainsaw. Its very misleading to say its a oil free chain saw, but then explain to a customer that it needs oiled "as needed". Is it "oil free" or do you need bar and chain oil? Should correct you're packaging.

Less weight for one handed operation and less expensive to make the saw. "Oil Free" is misleading but common sense tells you it will need some lubrication !

It will not damage the battery if you are leaving it on the charger just to get it fully charged. However, it will damge the battery and possibly the charger if you are storing the battery on the charger for long periods of time.
