He posted saying that this battery puts out more power than the other batteries. NOT TRUE! It puts out 18V just like ALL the different sizes of 18V Ryobi batteries. He saw was destined to burn out anyway. It's too bad people are given a voice and choose to point fingers when they don't know what they're talking about. This 9ah (for the 'Steves' of the world) is made for a LONGER RUN TIMES. It STILL puts out 18V just like ALL sizes of Ryobi 18V batteries. Get an education before the need to post and be heard.

Took a little while to get it in Canada but well worth the wait to have a pair of these batteries to use with my tools. Especially if you are planning a lot of cutting and routing on your projects. The initial time it took to charge the batteries on either the classical intelliport or on the new chargers as to be expected since it is a large 9AH battery. But it is worth the waiting and to be used. I would definitely sugges these batteries for the brushless tools. Since you will be able to get more out of them. But work very well even on the drush tools as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Destroys old equipment I have a Ryobi P501G circular saw that has been pretty good to work with, thought this would be great for powering it. I made it through two 2x4's then the motor on the saw started smoking and died. This battery definitely puts out more power than the 4Ah version (I can tell when i used it in my drills, etc. that they don't cut-out as easily), but some tools like the saw have NO PROTECTION for the extra power this puts out. Use with extreme caution.

However, the fans in the summer and lights in the Winter greatly benefit with these high capacity batteries with multi-hour use. It's also great with the leaf blower for extended use between charges. These large batteries have one disadvantage.... weight. It throws the balance off on tools like drills.

I've tried paying more to get this shipped didn't work, tried buying when the website says it's in stock but find out they don't have it when I went to the store, tried talking to management and staff for help. Basically you can't buy this and you won't know when they will have it in stock if ever.

Last one that came with the weed edger lasted over 7 years and we didn't even keep it properly charged in the winter. This new 9 Ah battery lasts a very long time and has a button to show how much charge is left so we never run it empty.

Would a P118 Charger charge the P194 battery?

I’m not sure which is P118 but my charger was come from a 6 tools bundle which can only charge one battery per time. It works fine with 9A battery

Will this battery fit in the Ryobi mower (i.e., is it too tall)?

Hi -AJinLondon, Thanks for reaching out to us. This 18V ONE+ Lithum-Ion HP 9.0 High Capacity Battery will fit all of our 18V tools including our 18V ONE+ Lawn mowers. However, some of the older 18V mowers have a smaller battery cavity. If you put this battery into one of them, the cover will not 100% close. You can still operate the mower with all of its functions. Why does the 16 in =Ryobi brushless HP lawnmower only come with the Lithium battery and not the HP battery to pair with the product
