Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great The leaf blower which comes in this package is missing a part. Returned it once and got a new one and same issue. The sales rep told me they are giving this snow blower due to the reason of missing part. Besides the leaf blower, snow blower also has a plastic auger (toro has steel). Its not gonna last in Canadian winters Something interesting for me on this item was there is a lot of 5 star reviews from October which there was no snow (their reason for 5star review is mainly it looks nice) Had to return to get 60v toro snow blower. They have many years experience in snow blowing and it made me confident they it will make the job done

Rated 1 out of 5 by from First running - not impressed Normally the snow in this area is of the dryer variety but the first snow to test this new toy out was wet. With the temperatures around the freezing mark and wet snow (about 1 cm) in the mix the snowblower found it difficult to move anything up the chute. I wound up shovelling lines of snow into small drifts then going over the finger drifts with the blower. This helped to a degree but it seems to be an extra step just to accomodate the limitations of the product. Will have to wait and see what the next fall of snow (expected soon) brings. I am still hopeful and perhaps the first run test was under the worst conditions for this blower but so far I am not impressed. I will update this once I get a more normalized test.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Give this one a pass How can you believe any reviews that have not tested this product in snow? Shame people! The chute attachment is plastic and poorly designed. The one screw does not hold the chute in place properly, and snow escapes. After 5 minutes of working this snow dislodges the chute and you cannot change the chute direction as it becomes jammed. Need to take it in to the garage to melt the snow and reset the chute in place. I have used the snow blower twice and the chute has jammed both times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ryobi 21 inch Whisper Snow blower I purchased this to replace my old 15 year gas single stage snow blower. Was hesitant at first as I didn't believe a battery operated snow blower would work well but was tires of using gas and oil. The first time I was able to use it was on wet heavy snow. Worked very well as I was able to clear my four car driveway and the side walk at the front of my house with power to spare. The 2nd time was during the 2022 Holiday snow storm. Worked very well and was able to clear my driveway and side walk at the front and side of my house. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and hope to use it as long as my gas snowblower

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid this product. Purchased this Nov last year and used it for 5 times to be exactly. First few runs was good. Unfortunately when I used it on the first snow this year it just died. The lights was still working but engine seems to be unable to start. Very disappointed because it is over 1 yr the HD warranty/replacement doesnt apply to the product. In the end I brought it to service center. Phoned the service center since it has been a month and they told me they needed to replace engine parts and it was on back order for 3X and I need to follow up again after 4-8 weeks. Seriously Ryobi build something reliable or atleast give customer a good replacement warranty. Avoid ryobi 40V. I like their 18v small tools though. Too bad.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks like it should work but no snow to move yet. I bought this item on October 14th 2022 and picked it up at the Lloydminster Alberta store on the 16th of October. Although we do not have snow to move as of yet, the reviews my spouse read on line on the 16th really worry me. There were Very Few GOOD comments on the reviews. Customers were just not pleased according to the reviews and I hope I will not be one of them when it comes time to use the product. I have Ryobi blowers, drills and a Ryobi Lawnmower which all seem to work pretty good but will never buy another Ryobi product if the Snow Blower turns out as bad as the reviews stated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snow Blower First Test bought this ry408101vnm snow blower Nov 2,2022 got a blizzard Nov 6 with snow 3inches in height and 3 dunes about 2ft high across my driveway. snow was softer on top and wet below with ice film on the bottom. (temp -2c in Regina,Sask,Canada.) my driveway is 80ft long and 8ft wide with a 20x20ft patio. not to mention the road sidewalk. I ran it up and down the driveway with no problem. when i got to the dunes, it bogged down a bit cutting through it and i had to push harder. So I decided tackle the dunes by slices (about 8in slices along the edges) and it worked very well. It even scrapped the ice below just fine. As a comment, another person said the chute comes off. I had no trouble with the chute. Just make sure the RELEASE Button is fully up and in place. P.S. it took about 39 minutes to do the driveway and road sidewalk. Both batteries had 3 bars left on them. (I did not over push into the snow and walked the blower at reasonable pace.) as for the patio, my daughter decided to come out and shovel the patio while i was doing the driveway. So far i am pleased with the blower. I'll wait for the next snow fall to test in dryer deeper and colder conditions and will do the entire driveway and patio and road sidewalk and see how much battery life is left.
