Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ryobi Air Self Leveling Level I have had this level for several years and found it useful at times. I removed the batteries when I stored it in a closet. It has been over a year since I needed it. The vacuum still works fine, however, the laser will not turn on. This is very disappointing since it is not a tool I use in my home shop constantly, only as needed so it has had relatively speaking very little use. Apparently it is considered a disposal product by Ryobi and Home Depot since I can not find a repair service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good piece of equipment! Had a little trouble installing the bushing to mount on a tripod, but is an exceptional tool. Is much better than more expensive laser levels. Haven't used the air grip, but on a tripod, works great. It is not a full 360, but is adjustable for almost 200 degrees without having to move it on the mount. Well worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so level level Like many other reviews this self leveling level does not self level. I thought I'd give it a try since I had been looking for a laser level and noticed the price drop. Putting a bubble level on the laser line indicated the level as out of level just a few feet from the device. Took it back and got the Johnson level which also was on sale but that wasn't any better, couldn't see the laser15 ft from the device. It is going back as well...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lots of good ideas in a poor product Wall mount is a wonderful idea but this is a cheep product that cant be relied on. Returned after a couple of uses, the line is way off when mounted to the wall. May work better on a tripod but the whole point of this tool is really for quick smaller jobs. A level that cant be trusted all the time isn't worth keeping.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Should have read the reviews... I really had high hopes when I saw this laser level. You can select between the horizontal line, vertical line, or both, which some other levels only have all or nothing. The vacuum suction wall mounting system seemed to work well also. It just has one flaw, the line it projects isn't level. So all the nice features aside, the thing fails at it's most basic job, being a level. I bought two for a project and they were BOTH out of level. Don't bother with this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised. Used it to install vertical blinds for 2 doors across a 24 foot wall. The vacuum pump held up well on a painted wall through out the whole installation. The 50 foot range is a bit of a stretch in bright daylight, but overall a good value for the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AVOID: Line not remotely horizontal when wall mounted. The in-store choice was pretty poor so I looked up the reviews for this guy. I saw extremes of '5' with comments that mislevelling called out in other reviews could be attributed to not removing the shipping tab that holds the laser mechanism still (and the instructions do not tell you to remove) through to 1's complaining that the level wasn't remotely level. Unfortunately my review is the latter and I can confirm I did remove the tab. When wall mounted using the suction (which was excellent), the line consistently went up about 1/4 inch every 2 feet. If instead I put the device somewhere central in the room, the line was a consistent height at the more consistent distance to the wall so I was able to get my initial job done but I will be returning the level as it failed in all other scenarios. 1 because the level isn't remotely level. Suction to attach to wall was great but ultimately useless given the level wasn't remotely flat when mounted like that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not level at all We tried to use this level on a job and it was over 1/2" off over about 50'. We tested it very quickly and discarded the box before we went to the job because it looked good, and now is not returnable, so I have a $75.00 brick in my workshop I will probably never use. What a waste of money this was!!
