Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh..............only took a day ok I recently bought this...Saw...... Took me apx 1 hour to assemble. I thought Fantastic I will be cutting here shortly... Not so much. Well I was cutting they just wern't straight cuts. I have worked in the automotive business and am currently a tradsman. (I have good mechanical aptitude in other words.) I proceeded to start making adjustments to this...SAW. I continued to adjust and cut etc for the next 4.5 hours. Finally I had, had enough and went to bed. This afternoon I went at it again. Adjusting this and that, adding a washer here or there for the next 3 hours. I am pleased to announce that after a total of 7.5 hours of monkying around and grinding out the adjustment holes so the slots were longer to give more adjustment I GOT IT DIALED IN! Seems to work great now. Pump could put out a little more water but it gets the job done for now while its new at least. So if your not afraid to put in the time and frustraion (plus a few tiles!) you can get a cheap saw to do a relatively decent job. Would I buy this saw again and go through all that... Not a chance. But then again I did not want this saw to start with I wanted the Rigid of similar build but alas none of the local home depot's carried it and the online was back ordered and out of stock. So I gave this a whirl. The only reason I likely worked so hard on it was I had it here and our shower is unusable till the tile goes on! LOL The instructions are almost usless. I figgured out more of its assembley myself I think. Oh I also use Jig-A-Loo Black Graphite lubricant on the slides to keep the jitter that other people were having with the table in check. Makes a mess but seems to work. As for the laser I know some were complaining about it. I didn't see a need for it at least on straight cuts so I did not even use it. I may try it later but I assume it will require adjusting to match the blade as I doubt they would align it at factory. I would give this thing 2.5 stars if you could rate in half stars. Good luck to anyone who takes on one of these things hope you have better luck than I did. Cheers
