Rated 4 out of 5 by from It solves a problem! The tool concept is excellent and it does the work albeit with the need to apply constant and even pressure at the handle. Unfortunately, the design falls short with the last one inch of the door remaining inaccessible to the tool due to the guide preventing this. The guide needs a better locking system, as it will shift and the perpendicularity of the cut is then lost. Final finishing will require sand-paper, and this is an expected.

I was thinking it would have had a blade similiar to a planer, but it is more like a edged drill bit. It still works, but takes a very small amount per pass. I think it would have been quicker to just take the door off and make a few passes with an actual planer.
