Make sure you get the rubber padding to make the rug non-slip. I wish I had gotten the large one. It is nice and thick and does not feel at all flimsy at all. It cleans VERY well. I have a dog that will every now and then make a "mess" inside. This rug cleaned so easily, you would not even know something happened.

I put this into my master bathroom (over tile and a rug pad) about 3 months ago. So far no visible signs of wear or tear and it is nice to have a barrier between bare feet and tile when getting ready each day. Bathroom style has blue-gray cabinets, ivory countertops and polished nickel Restoration Hardware faucets, mirrors and lighting. This rug this blends in well with the overall look and is a complementary addition at a bargain price. The nap/loop of the rug is even, the "fadeout" areas are not recessed to simulate wear. The pattern is versatile to work with contemporary, transitional and traditional decor. I know it is made of synthetic material but I think it works well in this particular space. I liked it so much I bought the Silver/Black area rug for my foyer too.

I am addicted to looking at rugs online, buying the rugs and either returning the rugs or keeping them to avoid the hassle and hating them. I have 3 teenage boys and a huge dog. We can't do natural fiber so I am always looking for rugs that don't have bright colors and are inexpensive for the wear and tear we have here. I am keeping this one! It's soft. The color is more of a powder blue (at least that is how it looks in my home/light). So many inexpensive rugs look like car floor mats that have been stamped with a design. This one does not have that look nor does it have that weird texture where it looks way darker from certain angles. The cream color is CREAM not that dirty white that many cheap rugs have. I would not try to pass this off as an heirloom but it does not look out of place with my higher end furniture and accessories.

I did have to tape down one side as it was rolled very tightly on that end, but it flattened out and is fine now. Very happy with this purchase.

Fibers are loose, what I would describe as "brushed". Overall, classy, and looks like I paid more than I did!

We put it on top of carpet and it does not slide around, but when we put it on hardwood, we had to add some material under it in order to stop it from slipping, but this is to be expected with any area rug that you purchase. overall we are happy with the look of it and once again, very very comfortable.

Try the following: Apply carpet tape around the edges of the rug. Turn over the rug with the right side down. Use silicone glue. Turn the rug upside down. Cut a gripper pad or backing to fit the rug. Lay the gripper pad on top of the rug.
