I looked at thousands of rugs and it's not easy to find a brightly colored, but not aggressively patterned design. The black helps balance the rich red and it looks very nice in my room. It's not soft and the pile is thin. If you put your hands on it, it feels scratchy. I like rugs that feel lush when you walk on them, and that isn't my experience with this rug. The quality for the money is fine, though. This isn't an expensive rug, so I didn't expect it to feel like a luxury item. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, but not in love with the product.

We have it in our kitchen by the sink and it luckily matches the other grey elements we have in the house. The reason for the 4 star review was on one side of the rug, there is a thick black thread that obviously shouldn't be there, and we are not able to remove without damaging the rug. We are luckly that we can hide it under the side of our cabinets, but if we wanted to use this rug in an area where it is fully exposed, we couldn't. It's a shame, because it is an amazing rug - probably just an issue with ours - wouldn't stop me from ordering again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for a high traffic area [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a small rug for the end of my bed and thought this would look nice there. The over all look of the rug is OK but I was surprised how thin it was. The fibers are loops but not very dense like a Berber carpet. It is alright to walk on bare foot but not as soft as I prefer so i decided to try it in the entry way. So far it has held up well to the extra abuse and high traffic and isn't showing signs of getting dirty easily even with the recent rains and a toddler running around. I will look for something more plush for the bedroom.

Same old issue with buying things online: look different when you get them. I would describe the color as grayish white and medium gray. To me, ivory has a yellow cast and I don't see that. But it will work. Pretty nice for the money. Bought this for a kitchen to protect hardwood so I wanted something synthetic, low pile and inexpensive so if I spilled a jar of marinara on it, I might be able to clean it off and, if I couldn't and had to toss the carpet, I wouldn't be upset. You'll need something to keep it from slipping, creeping.

Not thick or thin, plush enough. It's easy to vacuum. I flipped it upside-down and weighted it to flatten it out. I was able to flip it over in less than 24 hours with no issues. I am getting something for the corners because me feet (have coordination problems) catch the corners and they try to curl. I'm totally pleased for the price.

Also, it would be nice if it was thicker but the price was so reasonable and that's probably why.

Does the Ivory/Slate have a blueish tint?

The 9x9 and the 10x10 (both Ivory/Silver) look very different in the photos. I like one and not the other. The 9x9 appears darker and has a very prominent leaf print on both sides, the 10x10 is overall appers much more subtle and does not appear to have the dark print in those areas. Can you please tell me if the 9x9 and the 10x10 Ivory/Silver are identical or different in design...
