It is taking a while for the ripples caused by rolling the rug tightly for shipment to settle out. I tried to use a hair dryer (carefully) hoping a little hot air might help but it didn't .Time is the answer . I like this rug under my round breakfast table. The diameter of this rug is 6.50' not 7'.

Even after lots of rain, I can just blow it off and it looks perfectly new again. The blue is a very pretty wedgewood blue. Looks great with navy and red accents. I love it so much that I just ordered another one for the other side of my deck!
