I’d like to avoid a non slip pad underneath. Will it work ok on an outdoor deck without a non slip pad?

Hi. Yes, it can still work without a non-slip pad. We only recommend a rug pad to help prevent slipping/sliding but if you are placing an object on top of the rug to keep it in place, it will work as well. Thank you for your inquiry.
