I like that it is light so we will be able to put it away in the winter since in Chicago heavy snow or ice may shorten its life. The design looks nice and the size is perfect for our patio. The color is soft green to match almost every outdoor living. It came wrinkled but eventually it gets flat.

Tile is easy to clean and durable but it is hard and cold and this rug softens the contact of our old feet with the solid floor somewhat. It also shields us from the cold on a winter day. Yet we can take this carpet out and clean it without having to move a bunch of furniture. I like the convenience and the touch if color this rug lends to our habitat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful when new, but fades quickly This rug is a gorgeous red when first laid. It matched my red chair cushions and pillows on my covered patio. I was extremely pleased. My patio gets partial morning sun only. After one year it had faded out quite dramatically and after two years it is now bubble gum pink! Now I’m looking to replace it with another expensive outdoor rug. Daylight alone will fade it out quickly. I would not recommend for outdoor use.

Do you need to bring this in when it rains? Will it rot the deck if it's wet?

Hello Paul! While Safavieh Outdoor rugs are designed to withstand a variety of weather conditions, leaving them out during rain, humid environments, heavy winds, storms, hurricanes, and snow is not advised.  We highly recommend that the rug be rolled up when fully dry and stored indoors, in a shed/garage or dry and cool area.
