I use it with American Slide-Stop All-Surface Thin Profile 5 ft. x 8 ft. Fiber and Rubber Backed Non-Slip Rug Pad with the rubber side down on my hardwood floor. The area rug lay nearly perfectly flat on the floor very quickly after it was unrolled. I really like the navy blue color. It has some variation in shading which gives a nice depth to the color. I use a small battery powered vacuum to pick up the dirt tracked in from outside. Debris comes right up. There were a couple of dark smudges on the edges, probably acquired during shipping, which came out with mild detergent and water. I am looking forward to being able to take it outside and clean it with my garden hose. I have only had the rug down for about a week so I don't know yet how it will wear.

Well made. No problem with edges curling—I recall another review mentioned that as a concern. Purchased it to use as an outdoor doormat/rug in front of our double doors—there is a roof overhang that protects the rug from direct rain.
