Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Mat for our Kitchen We had cracked ceramic tile in our apartment kitchen which the landlord refused to replace so we decided to "cover it up" with an area rug. We didn't realized it when we ordered this "rug" that it has NO PILE. It is really a "MAT". But that turned out to be PERFECT for our KITCHEN. It is easy to keep clean in the kitchen and the color was EXACTLY what we wanted to bring out the blue birds in our wallpaper border. Our kitchen looks terrific and I am so happy we purchased this product. It would also work well on a patio but wouldn't be soft and comfortable for any other area of the home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very good buy This rug has no pile (it's not soft) and when first taken out of the plastic, it has ridges that take a few days to work themselves out. But it's very well made and it works perfectly for protecting the carpeting in our main sitting room where dog and kids and traffic are at a maximum. The colors and design are very nice. It would also work as a kitchen rug or summer outdoor rug.

We previously bought the 4' x 6' exact rug and liked it very much despite some visible glue. The ends of that rug were flat and folded under evenly. We had to remove the rug to another location and liked the design well enough to purchase it in a smaller size. The new one still looks very nice, but I'm disappointed with the ends of the rug. The fold-under wasn't done evenly so you see white stitching where it should be all black. Also the fold-under area is very thick and become somewhat of a tripping hazard. Again there is visible glue, but not much. We'll keep the rug down and hope the ends will flatten a bit. Won't be able to do anything about the uneven folding, though.

Mine arrived today, and it is most like the reddish tan photo. It is NOT orange. It is pretty true to a typical terracotta color. It is beautiful and well made. The 8x11 size arrived rolled and edges immediately layed flat out on our lanai.

We were looking for another one and found that this one is still available! Love it so much, decided to get the same one again. It's perfect! I take it outside twice a year and wash it. High quality, a non-slip pad underneath is helpful with a large dog!

First the color on the site appears to be mostly gray--it turned out to be a lot of brown (not sand). The 2 rectangles are a much different color than the round one, which makes my patio look miss-matched. I could not return them as I had an event where I needed rugs & they were all I had.

The color is more faded looking than the picture and the fabric is extremely stiff. After six months the edges are curling up, it is not stain resistant and looks old and worn out. The other outdoor rugs we have previously purchased help up much better and looked significantly better.

How can I get the fold marks out from being rolled up ?

Thank you for your question. Creases of rugs can happen. There are few suggestions you may want to consider to reduce this: • Back rolling/ Reverse rolling the rug (leave it back rolled for 48-72 hours)- place heavy furniture on rug while back rolled/ reverse rolled to keep it from unraveling • Use indoor rug/carpet tape-tape down corners of the rug to secure and flatten the ends of your rug. • Use a rug pad to prevent slipping and sliding • Use a rug gripper for hardwood flooring • Vacuum the rug where the creases are located • Simply allow ample time for your rug or runner to settle *These creases/waves/bumps will normally flatten-out on their own so in most cases you can simply allow ample time for your rug or runner to settle. If you’ve tried all of these suggestions, and this did not remove the creases or flatten the ends, I would strongly advise you to can get in touch with the vendor you purchased from for a return. Please be aware that vendors have their own return policy’s, please reach out to your vendor and see if you are able to return/exchange/replace/ this rug. Please remember these creases are not permanent!

While Safavieh Outdoor rugs are designed to withstand a variety of weather conditions, leaving them out during rain, humid environments, heavy winds, storms, hurricanes, and snow is not advised. We highly recommend that the rug be rolled up when fully dry and stored indoors, in a shed/garage or dry and cool area. Thank you for your question!

Hello. Unfortunately, because of the size of this rug we are forced to fold these rather than roll to ship. However, the creases should only be temporary and removing them involves back-rolling or reverse rolling and allowing time for your creases to relax. Thank you for choosing The Home Depot!
