The darker blue is a deep royal blue, the lighter blue is a sky blue/light turquoise, gold accents with an ivory background. The quality is quite good. Its not super plush, but is better then many I have seen in this price range. This rug is available on many websites under different names and prices. I was reluctant to buy a large item I hadn't seen in person. Home Depot offered free returns so I could just roll it up and bring it to my local HD if it didn't work out. Easy peasy.

Its colors are true to the picture, the size is great (it was hard to find a 7x9' rug in a color/pattern that I liked), and I was able to get a very tough stain out of it with just dish soap and water (our dog threw up on it after we'd had it for less than a month). I'm very pleased!

In the online picture, there is more gray in the rug and it looks more abstract. In reality, there is mostly ivory in the rug, with very little gray, There is also some sky blue, royal blue and black. This rug looks very traditional, not abstract at all. I ended up keeping the rug anyway. It is a nicely made and pretty rug, still goes with my decor, and returning it would have been a major pain. I would recommend looking at all possible photos online, or even trying to find in store so you may view in person before purchase.

All of the reviews were accurate. Beautiful colouring, very thick and plush, easy to clean, and lays out very well. I am so happy with this rug and it looks beautiful in my home!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not actually 8 x 10 Received the rug today. Laid it on top of my current 8 x 10 rug and noticed it’s shorter in width. It’s definitely 10 feet long but the width is 7.6. Not that 6 inches is a huge difference but I feel misled because I picked this rug because when I went to the specifications, it said 8 x 10. Some rugs do say “this is called an 8 x 10 but it’s actually 7 something x 10.” I also picked this rug because I wanted to lay it on top of my current 8 x 10 rug for extra padding. Can’t do that now for sure. Again very disappointed. You can’t believe anything anymore I guess

Yes, it can. My grandkids played on it with a rice table last night, and my daughter brought her two dogs over. It vacuumed up very nicely (review pictures are of the new rug - before vacuuming but after kids, dogs, and Thanksgiving company).
