Rated 4 out of 5 by from Connected Gas Cooktop We did not buy the hood, so we are not using the Bluetooth, but having all of our kitchen appliances on the Samsung Hub is amazing. My only complaint is this puts out too much heat, especially compared to our old cook top. My wife got in the habit of always cranking the temperature all the way up and now she is overheating our cookware. Nice problem to have. This cook top is very easy to clean, has space between the burners for the pots and handles, the grid is very stable including for the griddle and our wok. We both like to cook and this cook top make it very easy to produce complex meals. I like it a lot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Promising but fell short This is a beautiful stove top, however the front of the range discolored after the first use and has subsequently affected the entire front. This has ruined the aesthetics of this appliance. The center double burner is great, but it is challenging to fit a pot to boil water and a reasonable sauce pan on adjacent burners. After 9 months of use, three burners delay to ignite and require a lighter to ignite. Samsung is replacing those parts, but I thought the longevity was disappointing considering the price point. This may be better In a traditional stainless steel- the black did not hold up for us.

The design is solid with the exception of the WiFi component, IF you have a down-draft vent hood behind your cooktop you will need to ensure there is enough room to install both due to spacing. The center burner with the wok grill is an excellent touch and works really well. The burner temperature settings take a bit to adjust to, but the fact that the dials illuminate is a great safety feature.

I’ve read a couple of the bad reviews and felt the need to comment. If you are replacing an existing cooktop and do not think you will have some retrofitting to do you are “special” If you are buying one of the most powerful cooktops available and don’t expect it to get “hot” you might be special. If you think a 36” cooktop can fit multiple 12” pans you might be special. This thing cooks awesome. From a high heat with the center burner to a low simmer this thing works to perfection. The Bluetooth hood feature is a nice add also. The huge griddle is perfect for pancakes. The knobs light up Blue when the burner is on so that’s also a plus and looks pretty cool to boot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with new 36" Gas Cooktop with 22K BTU Dual Power Burner in Black Stainless Steel, I enjoy cooking more, makes life easier, all the features are just awesome, love the LED lights when my burner is on, the flame is just powerful and beautiful. Love the cast iron griddle, is heavy and high quality, easy to clean and cooks perfectly my food. The design of this cooktop is just beautiful, Fingerprint Resistant & Black Stainless Steel. Love the 5 burners, easy to cook a lot of things at the same time, except if you are cooking with huge pots. The best thing it has WIFI, so in case I forgot if I leave a burner on I just can check on my phone. Overall I truly love my Samsung Cooktop, which works awesome, easy to clean, cook, and looks beautiful! I cook more often now and I enjoy every single thing about it!

It did not fit perfectly and required making the hole a bit larger but otherwise it is great. The cooktop is very attractive and looks great in the kitchen. It is very easy to clean since the grates come off. I also love the high BTU burner. It works great for doing a stir fry with a wok. I have also noticed that my pans heat much more evenly than my old gas cooktop. the griddle is also fantastic. The only thing I do not have much use for is the wifi connection. I do not see much purpose for the app, since it just shows you if the burner is on. Overall, I love this cooktop!

Should have replaced it years ago, this 36" with 22K burner is a home cooks dream! Love the cast iron griddle accessory and low burner for simmering that doesn't click on/off. Well done Samsung.

A standard 120 volt, 15-amp breaker will be sufficient. The only power draw is for spark generation, wi-fi, and to illuminate the control knobs.
