Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not purchase, fragile and parts are obsolete the glass cooktop is extremely fragile. (simply look at 1 in 5 reviews). it is just a matter of time before the cooktop cracks. when it does samsung will not cover this under warranty, they will label it as physical damage and their say is final. on top of this the glass part is obsolete and can no longer be purchased, if you can find someone that still has it you will be paying half of what you paid for the oven to fix it. wait a few months and it will be broken again. pictures attached showing the damage. impact point near the edge, but my ikea counter sustained no damage at all. yet this is considered physical damage and not covered. samsung customer service made their decision and that is that.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK product but service and parts severely lacking bought in 2015 along with a fridge ,dishwasher and washer. range worked fine other than the oven was not a consistent heat. then we noticed the oven door panel coming away from the glass...no big deal.. in july 2020 dropped a hot pan on glass top...chipped edge.. but September the chip became a crack right along the glass for about 16 inches. this is where the fun started....try to fine anyone who will work on a Samsung appliance. most just say sorry no. finally found someone who would work on it but when i told them the glass was cracked they said it might just be a glass replacement, no too expensive. but after they referenced the model they were informed the glass and the complete top is one unit.....$800.00 plus labour! it gets better ...the part was on backorder with no foreseen date. the repair company called around and found out 8 other repair companies had been waiting for the part...for months!. Repair shop suggested they would look for another range . Which for them meant no repair revenue... Had similar issues with clothes washer recall...should have taken the money and bought another brand... And don't even think about their fridges. ice machine broken, freezes up. As well as fridge twin cool fan.. the biggest issue to me is after sales support. both in the way of service and parts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from If you are a serious cook keep looking... We have been using this range daily for over a year now. We are very familiar with and prefer cooking with induction (over both traditional electric and gas cook-tops) so this evaluation is based on comparing it to other induction range experiences. General impression: it over-promises and under-performs. It looks nice and has some good features, but it operates like it was designed by someone who clearly doesn’t cook or bake a lot! I have rated it below average because for this price it should perform much better. The induction works well enough but lacks power and adjustment precision, the oven works well at regular and higher temperatures but has no temperature options below 175 degrees. If you are a serious cook make sure to read on to see if you can live with its shortfalls… Cooktop pros: I was excited to have an induction range with simple knob controls after endless problems with touch pad controls on a previous induction range Design is very simple and super easy to keep clean, I initially thought the LED lights looked really silly but now love them as I am prone to turning on the wrong zone The low setting on the small zone is perfect for melting chocolate - a big plus of cooking with induction! Oven pros: heats up quickly, temperatures seem to be fairly true (but I also use a thermometer as sometimes it doesn’t get up to full temperature right away) and the oven divider is handy feature when cooking smaller dishes, good high temperature performance Cooktop cons: Knob controls settings. They are not graduated between settings, even though they feel like they should be. This is especially noticeable between the simmer setting and # 3. The simmer setting is too low and the next one up (#3) is too vigorous/hot for a true simmer. I have tried this on all the zones, with assorted pot sizes and sauce types, I can never get a true simmer which is very frustrating. One of the best features of induction (other than its heating speed) is how precisely you can cook with it. The settings for these knobs do not allow one to take advantage of this important feature. Induction zone positions. The largest zone is at the front of the stove. It is great to have such a big cooking zone! However, pots that are that big are usually stock or canning pots and should be at the back of the stove for convenience and safety. The smallest zone is in the middle at the back, the most awkward position when cooking delicate items in small pots that usually require more attention. The induction power on this stove is not as strong as others. This is especially noticeable when using the smaller zones for high temperature cooking such as boiling and stir frying. Oven cons: The sliding rack is a poor design. It rolls back in on itself when you pull it out if you don’t hold on to it -- not sure how they expect you to do this when you need two hands to hold most dishes. It has a “handle” that is right in the way of placing dishes on the rack (especially challenging if you are using a boiling water bath). It is a bulky design and cumbersome to move between positions. There are other sliding racks in ovens that work extremely well, so it can be done, Samsung should have left it as a regular rack until their design improves. I avoid using it, how helpful is that? And then there is the Bread Proof feature set at 175 degrees – really??? This temperature kills yeast, bread proofing should be 120 degrees max. When we contacted Samsung about this they said “the Bread Proof function automatically provides the optimum temperature for the bread proof process”. This is also when we found out that there is no manual override to run the oven any lower than 175 degrees. I feel this is false advertising about this product. It also is unfortunate the one can’t run the oven at any lower temperatures because there are so many great things on can do in a convection oven that runs at the 100-120 range, like bread proofing, drying and dehydrating to name a few of our favourites that other ranges in this price bracket offer. While there are two timers, which is nice, they are so quiet that you can't hear them if you are not in the kitchen or you have a mixer running, and there is no way to adjust the volume. If this was a quality oven for serious cooks, the redundant Healthy Cook options would have been actual useful options, like dehydrating and slow-cooking instead. Too bad they didn’t spend more time making it a truly useful range rather than creating gimmicks -- induction is great this range does not let it live up to its full potential. For the past year I have repeatedly wished I could have returned it and tried another. I hope others can learn from my experience and make a more informed decision if it is suitable for their needs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inox pas de bonne qualité I bought an induction cooker for less than 3 months and the stainless steel is already stained, so not a real stainless steel, not quality despite a high-end price. Technical service rotten, no replacement, nothing unless mechanical failure. The Samsung stove is a double oven, but if you use the whole oven it is very long waiting for the temperature of 350 is very, very long cooking versus a standard oven. Function well when it is separated, but too small for things that have height. Very disappointed with my purchase, never again Samsung.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from High on features, low on quality layout and functionality of the induction cooktop are ahead of most others on the market. led "flame" lighting, while cheesy, is actually a nice touch. it's an intuitive way to indicate when a burner is on. and the flex duo oven is the reason we chose samsung. unfortunately, overall construction quality of the rest of the unit is poor. metal components are thin and flimsy. worse yet, the oven is slow to preheat and doesn't maintain set temperatures. it will wander off to a lower temp than what is indicated. every time the door is opened, the oven must be restarted to prompt the oven to maintain the temperature indicated. be prepared for baking disasters. Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality we purchased new in Sept 2015. after one year all circuit boards were replaced, third year both convection fans replaced, glass top very fragile and we had to replace(our fault) as of April 18/2020 two right side burnes no longer work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! I bought this as an extra oven for our downstairs...and I use it more then my primary! Love the bread feature! Love that the top never gets hot...so far so great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Convection oven does not maintain set temperature Have been using this for a few weeks and this oven is horrible. Unable to bake anything, the cakes do not cook, always raw inside (I bake all the time and this never happened to me) - temperature fluctuates/drops - i tried all the different settings possible and calibrate the temperature. Always the same result. The conventional oven seems ok, but I purchased this one for the convection and dual option. Completely useless to use the dual oven, in theory the idea is great but in reality it just can't keep it's temperature. Terrible buy.
