Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, but prep and patience is key. I don't quite understand the negative reviews. If you're throwing this stuff on dead grass expecting a miracle you will be disappointed. You must rake all the dead grass you can. Afterwards apply EZ Seed and water right away. Keep watering daily if the weather is warm and sunny. I started seeing germination in about 2 weeks and then the weather turned nice and it grew quickly. I kept watering everyday there was no rain. The best growth I saw was turning sunny days above 20 degrees and watering the seed. I don't have a clue what I was doing, but it worked out. My only complaint is the price. Oh, and don't get dogs if you want nice green grass.

I‘d gotten some pest damage in my lawn over the winter and bare spots as a result. I got 2 bag so hoping to fill the bare spots and revive my lawn with absolutly no success. The seeds just lay on the soil with absolutely none germinating despite how much watering I did. IM USUally you write reviews reviews but considering how much I’ve spend on the Scott Brand of seed this year, I figure I have to mention how disappointed I am with the seed I've tried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I started applying this 3 weeks ago, it is amazing, follow the instructions, which are easy, and maintain watering regularly per instruction, growth is 2 1/2 ins already , some patches I did later but grass already sprouting , wish I had seen this product earlier in the season , would highly recommend.

This is the second time I bought this product, once before in 2022. It's just a very bad experience with Scotts. I will not recommend this product for the reason it doesn't germinate all dead seeds I feel.

I've always been very happy with it and noticed significant improvement in our lawn

I reseeded my front lawn but after it came up, a few neighborhood dogs decided they liked my new grass and burned 4 circles in it. I used this product to fix these patches and was very happy with the results. I recommend this product.

Hi I have a whole yard I am going to tiller due to weeds etc, however if I was to buy a few bags of these and lay them all over would I be able to get a full grass everywhere?

I did that very thing with my font yard 3 years ago and thats why I keep buying this product… but you do need to water a lot at the beginning.
