Dead or brown patches in the turf? Turf that easily lifts up and peels back, revealing sorry-looking roots or none at all? Dig-holes caused by skunks or raccoons? The culprit is most likely grubs. Stop grubs by applying Scotts Grub B Gon MAX Grub Killer, then watering-in to a depth of about 1.25 cm. When applied as directed, the active ingredient a live, soil-borne organism is released down into the soil and root zone where grubs live. As grubs eat plant roots, they also ingest the active ingredient, effectively putting a stop to them and their destruction. Controls a variety of beetle grubs, including June beetles and chafers.

  1. Works to effectively control beetle grubs that cause turf damage
  1. Controls a range of beetle grubs, including Japanese beetle, May or June beetles, European chafer, and more.
  1. Uses a natural active ingredient Bacillus thuringiensis that absorbs into grass roots to kill grubs as they eat
  1. Apply with your favourite Scotts spreader

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has worked great On the advice of my landscaper, I purchased several bags and covered most of the lawn, leaving a section for comparison. Of the areas covered since summer, the raccoons and crows have not been tearing the lawn apart this year, and as an added bonus, it has reduced mole activity to just the area which wasn't treated. As the product took care of the grubs, the moles moved on as their food source was removed. I wish I could obtain larger containers of the product due to the size of the lawn.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grubs gone but need to repair grass now I bought this product for my front lawn near a tree that was recently removed. Grubs have been infesting this area for years.. I used it as directed and followed the steps. The grubs seem to be gone which is fantastic! I found out after that I need to repair my lawn now. Im going to buy this product for my backyard next.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Well Many of the bad reviews think a quick application will kill them immediately. Wrong. It works well however it will take 12 months to get rid of an infestation. My neighbour has it bad and they made it over to my lawn last year. Heavy damage in a couple of spots and small spot damage too. Reseeded the bad areas and did Grub Bgon last fall. did and this spring and will do 2x more this year. Also, you don't have to do all the lawn. no need to do under shaded areas of lawn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grub BGon Grub Killer for lawn grubs We bought this product because it’s highly recommended. The tricky part is figuring out when it should be applied. For example, our spring seemed to start 2 weeks later this year so it was hard to determine the best timing for the application. If you get the timing right the product is excellent and the results are excellent too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from product in stores after recommend application date You your retailers (partners ) for the most part sell product produced over 17 months in my area . who is responsible to rotate product in retail partners businesses. It states on packaging recommendation : product should be applied within 17 month of manufacture I believe ?l .I’ve been to multiple stores and product on shelf is over 17 months . This product does not work on my lawn . Could only find product on shelf with production over17 months Skunks are having a field day tearing up my lawn .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I used this product as in directions. Don't waist your money like I did. Doesn't work and as a matter of fact the grubs seem right at home with this stuff. I live in Vancouver Canada and this is the strongest stuff I can find on the shelves. Why don't they sell the 24hr Grub Killer here like in the US. All these products are a money grab for the companies selling them. The grubs here are tuff little buggers don't die easy. I've tried to be environmentally friendly at first and used nematodes as directed. And it seems to made it worse off. None of this crap works and I'm tired of spending money and time and energy to combat these grubs. looks like I might end up ordering the 24hr grub killer on line. Or I'm thinking next year just start from scratch...get rid of all the top soil down to hardpan. bring in new dirt and sow seed. Anyways that's my rant for this topic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I applied this product in the spring, summer and fall of 2022 as per instructions. There is no improvement in my small lawn. As a matter of fact it looks very ugly. I suspect this product may have been stored in unheated conditions and has been frozen prior to purchase. Has freezing perhaps rendered this product ineffective? Please advise.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Challenging to use; not up to Scott’s standard I’m usually a huge fan of Scott’s products. This one has been challenging to say the least. First, multiple visits to multiple Canadian Tire stores only to find stale dated product as it has a 17 month shelf life - first store had 6 bags, newest was June 2021. Second store had 8+ bags April 2021 or older, then a bunch without a clear date code. Since the staff member said they had just got some per their system, I am gambling on a dust free bag with a 020356/BG/3G code. Even Google doesn’t know how to translate that. Next - the bag doesn’t have an application setting for my Scott’s Drop spreader. Again, Google and Scott’s website have been unable to translate. Going to guess at using the ratio and some math by looking at a Scott’s fertilizer bag I have.
