Add proper watering and the grass just takes off. Now when I push a screwdriver into the lawn to test soil density I hear a lot of grass roots crunching because there is so much grass, it's like a carpet. Two years ago with no fertilizer, no grass seed and no watering, I had a horrible weed ridden lawn. Ortho Weed B Gon Max controls the weeds and the healthy grass chokes them out by out competing them.

Grows thick and very dark green. Stands out in your neighbourhood like you wouldn't believe. Just be ready you will have to mow it every 5-6 days because of how well it works. I don't mind mowing that often, just love how great it looks. Never burned my lawn!

I have noticed quite a few people said that it burned their lawn and I had the same experience. I always use a Scott's stuff and it works amazing but this product left me very doubtful. Are there clear instructions on how to spread this so it doesn't burn

I guess I should have made myself more clear...are there any "other" instructions than what's on the back of the bag because using those like many of the others here makes your grass patchy and burns your lawn. Thanks.

When using Scotts Turf Builder Green Max Lawn Food all application directions will be on the bag. Make sure to allow 6-8 weeks between applications of any fertilizer products on your lawn to prevent damage to your lawn.
