Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this product and the sales man who helped... I love this product and the sales man who helped me (Harry Feig) explained it perfectly. I had never heard of it or used it before, but I will never do any plumbing using the old technology or ways again. I had a leaky pipe and was looking for a quick way to take care of it. I’ve done plenty of my own plumbing in the past and was planning on soldering in a new section of pipe. When I went to home depot I was trying to figure out the easiest way to handle the leaky pipe since it was in a difficult location in my house. A young man approached me and asked if I needed any help. I asked him a simple question, which he answered, but then went on to explain about Shark Bite plumbing. I had never heard of it, but he explained it clearly and convinced me (although I don’t think he was trying to sell me on it, just help) enough that I thought I would give it a try. When I arrived home I watched some online videos before starting the work, to be sure I knew what I was doing. They convinced me even more that this was a good product to try. Being skeptical, I completed the work and expected to have to deal with some issue, because it was so easy to do. I turned the water on and waited. Not a single issue, not a single drop of water. I was so amazed at how easy it was and how well it worked. The small extra cost was more than worth it and I will never use anything else again, unless I have to. Thank you to Harry Feig for being so knowledgeable and helpful. I so glad he took the time to explain Shark Bite plumbing to me.

Crimp rings are not to be used with the Push-to-Connect SharkBite fittings. The fittings are engineered to hold PEX, copper or CPVC without the use of any additional fastening methods.
