Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Time Pex Nice (though not necessary) to colour code new plumbing. Resistant to PEX initially. But would have had a very different day running and splicing Copper through joists.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PEX is Great Love PEX pipe. Think its great that you can now plumb a house with red pipe for hot and blue pipe for cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's PEX - but straight! Unlike the stuff from the large spools, these pieces are relatively straight and therefore easier to work with in tight areas.

can this product used outdoor and leave it in winter without getting damaged

Asked by: Peter
Hi Peter. PEX tubing cannot be exposed to UV light, so it is not recommended to use in an outdoor project unless completely buried. Thanks.

I'm looking to create large plastic rings for a project. The ring would be approximately 48" wide. Would this pipe flex enough to create these rings, without bending itself? If not, can anyone recommend something that would do this?

Asked by: Wendy
Hello, I'm assuming 48 wide = 24 radius. The minimum bending is 7 inch to create a 90 degree "elbow" so it's sturdy enough to what you intent to do. Just connect the ends with 2 clamps and 1 union. Best regards.

What is the temperature rating on this pex pipe?

Asked by: Tracy218
Hi there, Thanks for the inquiry. Temperature Performance: • Minimum working temperature 33°F (0.5°C) at 160 psi • Maximum working temperature 200°F (93.3°C) at 80 psi • Maximum working pressure is 160 psi at 33° F (0.5°C) – 70° F (21.1°C) Freeze Resistance • PEX pipe is freeze-resistant and can expand slightly if frozen; PEX will contract back to its original form when thawed. PEX is not freeze-proof, PEX should be insulated to prevent freezing. Like all potable piping systems, water left in the pipe during freezing conditions can freeze and could cause damage. Thanks.
