[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was putting up a sprinkler for my lawn and needed couple of these couplings to join and split the lines. These look good, fit well and i like the flexibility to have these to be able to cover all the vegetable garden and rest. I would certainly recommend these. Make sure you are looking for this exact sizes, coz my neighbor bought the same and they didn't fit his.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A quality alternative to copper or galvanized pipe for water plumbing systems. A reducer is often an additional cost savings technique to scale down size of valves or other fittings if full flow is not needed. Scaling up, or using this fitting as an “increaser” is often required to keep proper flow. Keep in mind that 3/4 inch PEX pipe is about the same internal diameter as 1/2 inch galvanized. Barbed fittings are smaller diameter yet, since they fit inside the pipe. It is a good idea to properly size your system if you are installing any length of pipe or doing a large project. Good price for a quality fitting, and readily available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here is another new arrival for my waterline replacement project, 3/4 X 1/2 In. Plastic PEX Barb Reducer five pack, by SharkBite. I am on a well system and the water pressure is fairly low. So all of the under the house runs are 3/4 in PEX, reduced to 1/2 in. PEX near the risers, and above the floor. Simply cut the PEX tubing squarely, slip on the crimp ring, and crimp with the appropriate crimping tool, Quick, simple, and clean. Another fine product from SharkBite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. Plastic PEX Barb Reducer Coupling is an excellent fitting. The body of the fitting as well as both ends have a great finish, no sharp ends or burrs. Provides a good tight connection. I have specified and used this type of fitting for many years. I am now retired and spend most of my time in my yard and garden.Sometimes it is necessary to bring water to areas where the sprinklers just don't reach, vinyl tubing and barbed, threaded or compression fittings are perfect to reach these goals. Yes, I like and recommend these fittings. Ref: https://www.homedepot.com/p/SharkBite-3-4-in-x-1-2-in-Plastic-PEX-Barb-Reducer-Coupling-5-Pack-UP058A5/206133156

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use PEX pipe for every water line these days. I normally run a 3/4" main line and then 1/2" line to each fixture. Many times I need a reducer coupler to change from the 3/4" main line to a smaller 1/2" line. One great thing about using PEX and these fittings is you can turn water on immediately. There is no reason to wait for glue to dry using these fittings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PEX 3/4 inch to 1/2 inch plastic barbed reducing couplings are great to use when installing new PEX tubing for new installations or retrofitting old work. I prefer the plastic fittings when installing PEX plumbing in my home. I have found that the brass fittings get calcification building up, and begin to plug-up within a year or so after installing them. That doesn't seem to happen with the plastic fittings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These things can be a time saver as well as a quick way to do repairs. I got a couple packs of these in different variations. The sizes I got were for rubber hose repairs and to make longer lengths as well as attach a barbed end adapter for some machinery.. So far so good even with some hot water running thru some they perform as I expected. Just used the last of them for a sump pump hose I actually use at home in a sink that tends to overflow during heavy rain storms. Saved me from having to wet vac the floor this last storm.

Pipe will hold, but fittings and clamps aren't rated that high.

Does this measure a true 3/4” on the large barb side?

Bought the metal version and the whole fitting would fit inside the hose. Measured more like 1/2 x 5/8
Asked by: James
This means that the large end of this SharkBite fitting fits into 3/4 in PEX tubing properly.
