Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Time Pex Nice (though not necessary) to colour code new plumbing. Resistant to PEX initially. But would have had a very different day running and splicing Copper through joists.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PEX, but straight. Didn't come from a spool, so it's relatively straight, therefore easier to work with in tight areas

Is this tube UV resistant? I am going to use it outdoors.

Asked by: Bart
Hi there, PEX pipe has a limited UV rating and should never be installed in direct UV light, such as the sun. Thanks.

I'm looking to create large plastic rings for a project. The ring would be approximately 48" wide. Would this pipe flex enough to create these rings, without bending itself? If not, can anyone recommend something that would do this?

Asked by: Wendy
Hello, I'm assuming 48 wide = 24 radius. The minimum bending is 7 inch to create a 90 degree "elbow" so it's sturdy enough to what you intent to do. Just connect the ends with 2 clamps and 1 union. Best regards.
