With their innovative new stainless steel retaining collar, SharkBite Max connectors offer increased strength and durability with a pressure rating of 400 psi. Their specially designed body allows for effortless tubing insertion and does not require the use of PEX reinforcements. Installation requires no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools. Simply insert the tubing and the stainless steel teeth "bite" to ensure a secure connection, while a specially designed O-ring compresses for a watertight seal.
