Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this for rain protection Within a couple of weeks of receiving this shelter we had a few typical late spring rain showers. Not full-on rainstorms, just showers. The rainfall quickly filled up the top of the shelter and formed into pools between the frame and the top. It looked like none of the rain ran off this thing. This is a fine sunscreen, but no more than that. We're returning it and getting a 10x15 with a steeper pitch. Do not buy this for use in the Northwest. You'll be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Looks But Mediocre Performance The overall product is very attractive, but appearance is not the problem. After using the canopy for one event, the stitching along the Velcro keepers tore away in 15mph winds, which are common here in South Florida. In addition, the supplied anchor pegs offer little help in keeping the canopy secured and addition anchor methods are highly recommended. Having the option of adding side curtains like on this vendors smaller canopies would be a great addition as well. Bottom line is that this is NOT and industrial grade canopy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money Upon opening, the product had twisted and bent poles. It appears that the manufacturer painted the poles after they were bent. There are no guy lines for windy days. The plungers that hold the top up were weak and did not line up with the holes in the legs. A total waste of time after trying to set it up and having it just fall back down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks decent but poor quality Looks pretty good but the first time we set up the velcro tabs came off. Don't really need them as the canopy top is very tight. Would be difficult for 1 person to set up. All sewed seams are not tied off and so it will be a matter of time before they will come loose and will need to be re-stitched.

So not so sure of the quality there. Good news is this company actually lets you replace the tent portion when the frame is still god.

Does this 12x 12 straight leg Shelter Logic Red or Blue cover be bolted to a floor deck?

Hello Kathy and thank you for your question. The ShelterLogic Pro Pop-Up Canopy has wide based foot plates at each leg with easy access to secure anchor points. It is not intended for permanent installation. This canopy is can temporarily be anchored on grass, dirt or packed soil by inserting the temporary spike anchors through the corner feet. Since a strong wind can literally pick the canopy up and take it away (I know from experience!), it should not be left unattended and should not be bolted to a floor deck. I confirmed with ShelterLogic that they do not offer a side panel for shade. Best wishes with your project.
