Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product This was almost the ideal noser, although I had to purchase two and join them due, to my stairs being almost 40" in width. Easy to cut and join though, and affordable. This product was particularly useful to me as the landing we redid had several layers of subflooring, and seemed to require a noser with a larger "height" to it. This being about 2" "tall" was the perfect solution to make sure the whole nose edge is covered up. It comes in a decent variety of shade colours as well. The grey is a modern "charcoal" grey shade.

Why is it so hard for Home Depot to correct their incorrect information? 3 different measurements in description 1 7/8, 1 5/8 and 2" They sell tape measures on isle 7 BUY ONE.

I dont have a pic option, but we used with Winter Oak flooring and its fabulous! Pair with a lighter grey or bluish flooring. Anything darker than a slate grey and you may wanna go with black. Easy to use also!!! Hope that helps.

Can this be used over an indoor outdoor carpet?
