The PSCL is actually available in all three sizes noted - PSCL1/2, PSCL5/8 and PSCL19/32. Use the same size sheathing clip as the panel thickness. Thank you!

I have a roof with 24" OC trusses. Would it make my 1/2" plywood decking stronger if, instead of centering the clips, I put two on each plywood sheet at 8 and 16 inch spacing. Hoping to add solar panels and need as much strength as possible.
Asked by: CoffeeDragon
I just saw your question-you probably finished your project but ... These clips reduce flex between joints. I managed to pop one out yesterday while shingling my roof. I would hesitate to do what you’re mentioning. Instead, I’d add a 2x4 at the joint, maybe after you’ve put the decking on. 22” scraps could be pulled up with a handful of deck screws.

How many square feet does this cover?

How many square feet does this cover?
Asked by: pro
This isn't a product that would typically be estimated by square feet of coverage. These are typically used in roofing when your trusses are spaced farther than 16" OC (On Center). For instance, many roofs have the framing structure spaced 24" OC, you would add one of these between every 24" spread to help give the panels more stability be connected the lower and upper panels together. They don't really fasten to either board, they just slip on. There are lots of illustrations on the web that will show you what I mean if you are confused. You may be better off having a pro do your job.
