The only reason I am rating "good" instead of "excellent" is because in the directions the picture of the trolley is poor & took me awhile to figure it out. Other than that, I installed exactly as instructed(including side notes) & it works perfectly.

Luckily we were able to program our other openers, although now we have to be right on top of the garage door for it to open and it opens only after attempting to open it many, many times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Deckman from Smooth operator! I was a little skeptical buying this opener as I was not familiar with the brand or quality. It arrived quickly (Nice) and was simple to install (nicer!). It worked immediately w/o a bunch of fiddling around and it had 2 remotes as well! It handles the door opening easily (single 7'w) and does not start at top speed and yank the door into submission getting it moving. Soft start and stop (nicest!!) was the main reason I chose this opener, and it does a great job. My 2nd door opener is starting to give up the ghost (funny how common that is, like there is a timer built in or something ;) ) I will likely buy another soon to replace the other opener that is trying to destroy the door it operates.

Installation was not all that complicated, but I had to reset the upper and lower travel limits a second time as the door came down too hard the first time. It is important to follow the instructions carefully here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by kjlcc from buy a chamberlain bought the heavier of the 2 skylink models to replace an old chamberlain. Big mistake! Slow, won't start without repeated try's when the temp is below minus 20 (Saskatchewan), either to open or close again. Will be in the garbage the first time I see a decent sale on a chamberlain.

Was a little skeptical buying this opener never having heard of the company before but it is great. Super quiet operation and the soft open and close feature has to be one of my favourites. My old opener used to bounce violently when stopped mid cycle. No worry with this one. The remotes are tiny too, perfect for a keychain but they also come with holders they can be put in for visor mount. They are the size of a normal flash drive. Must be an update from when the picture was taken, and a welcome one. Also have a second button for multiple door use.
