Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, a little tricky The tiles themselves are lovely. Unlike other reviewers, this was an all-day job for me, not just a few hours. I applied the tiles to the two long walls in a galley style kitchen--under cabinets and above the sink and under cabinets above the range. The tiles come in at least 8 patterns labeled A -- H so I figured I would apply them in order: A, B, C etc. That didn't work though because there were multiples of some letters and only a few of other letters, which was unfortunate because the colors randomized really well in the sequence and you had to work at not getting too much white or darker color in one spot in the non-sequenced pattern. I ordered a few extra tiles and was glad as I used every single tile. I only wasted one that tore when I couldn't get it laid in just right under a cabinet. You definitely need to start on the left, regardless of your wall configuration, which can make it challenging to keep the seams aligned when the wall area expands above a sink or range. Because I wanted the tiles centered above the sink and range, measuring correctly was important. But because the tiles have irregular edges (the top of one tile is not the same width as the bottom of another tile, it added a lot of time to this application. If it had been just a rectangular block, it would have been quick and easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My second project was as good as my first 5 years ago! I was looking for an alternative to wallpaper which had yellowed in my bathroom and just three years. I had a used Smart Tiles five years ago as a backsplash in my kitchen and they have done amazingly well. They look just as good as the day I put them up. With that said, I decided to go back to The Smart Tiles website to pick a matching tile for the white Wainscot that I had on the bottom half of my bathroom walls. Since the bathroom was small, I chose the Capri Pera since it was the most neutral and thus not too busy. I took my time and installed it over two days. The installation was amazingly easy as I had remembered when doing my backsplash in the kitchen. I have gotten many many compliments on how beautiful it looks. It has truly transformed my small bathroom. I was however concerned about the condensation from hot showers. As has been up for almost a month now, I can confidently say that the condensation from the hot showers has not affected the adhesive whatsoever. I love this product so much that I am looking for other places in my home where I can install it. It has the look of real Glass tile without the cost of installation and the messiness of using grout.

What tools do you need to cut the smart tiles

Hello, thank you for reaching out. Our tiles are very thin (0.07in). They can be easily cut to fit with a box cutter. We also recommend using a cutting mat along with a metal ruler with a cork backing to help with the measurements.

Our current kitchen backsplash is made of cement and ceramic circles (of varying colours of brown). Will this product stick to these 2 different materials?

I am only tiling a 4 inch strip above my countertop. Can I cut this tile in half and still have it fit together, or will I need to buy enough to span the full length of my countertop and just waste the other half of the tile?

I need 16 square foot of tile. How much comes in a package or are they sold individually? . These dimensions should be added to the specs.

Hello, This item is available in a 4 pack as well as single sheets. Each sheet of the Capri Pera is 9.88 x 9.70 inches. You would need about 29 tile sheets of this model to complete your project.
