Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stills Works Awesome! It’s crazy to think that I got mine back in 2012. It’s has been working like new each season since then, and I’m ready for another crazy New England winter with it! I take great care of it and it has never needed anything. Very powerful and efficient! Sad to see it’s discontinued but had to mention mine still works like the first day I had it home.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No Support I need a replacement scraper blade, and Ariens told me they don't ship to Canada. So why is Home Depot selling these products if there is no customer support for their products. Hopefully I won't need anything else for this blower.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product & no support I ordered this Snowblower through home depot online last winter. The Snowblower was lost in transit for over a month, and home depot called to ask me if I received it as they didn't know if they even shipped it to me?? Once it finally arrived, it always gave me trouble to start it. After several tries over a couple of hours, it finally started but never again. Home Depot won't accept returns on engines that have had gas added to them. What? How else are you supposed to check if what you bought worked? They won't touch it and keep pushing me off to Ariens, and they are just as bad. You have to find a dealer in their network that will repair it, but all the numbers in my area are either disconnected, or they say they don't do service work even though they are listed as a service provider on Ariens website. Not only that but they will not look at it without me paying $80 to get it looked at even though it's under warranty

That is not due to the standard buy at a good price or that they had all i needed for a project. It is due to a problem. We recently ordered a snow thrower that was to be delivered. Home depot was going to keep the cost down buy using a local shipping company. This company seemed to have some sort of issue with their assigned task. With one phone call to home depot they quickly sorted out their problem and started to act like professionals. Home Depot used their power to help us get satisfaction and we are now ready for the horror that is a Minnesota winter. The worth of a company is not how they do daily business when all goes well. It is how they handle themselves when something goes amiss. The thrower looks good and was easy to assemble. It has all the whistles and bells i was promised and all functions nicely. The only problem I find is it did not come with any snow. Here in Minnesota that little issue will correct itself quickly enough. Thank you Big Orange

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A well-built and sturdy Snow Blower Took a while to assemble, but it looks and feels like a well-built machine. Started immediately, however I haven't used it yet because I bought it at an end-of-season sale in preparation for next winter.

How good does this blower handle heavy/wet snow left by the trucks and the of the driveway?

Asked by: MrGoodbar
Can't imagine a better machine to deal with that area. Loads of power. Chews up the build up of plow moraines. Even refrozen slush berms. I was very impressed. I'm located above Chilliwack BC so we get the heavy wet stuff 16 " deep and it works like a beast.

Will this go through older snowbanks?

The snowplow left a snowbank in front of my large trailer. Will this cut week old snowbank that is likely frozen partially inside? Or is it just for fresh snow? how does it do in freshley plowed snowbank? Thanks!
Asked by: Anonymous
does a good job even with wet and snowplow snowbanks. These pics are of the job it did clearing out my 30' travel trailer, which is in about 20 feet from the road.

Will this machine go up steep hills? Our driveway is quite steep - will I have to use it to remove snow only when going DOWN the drive?

Asked by: Anonymous
I think it would depend on how soft the snow is and how steep you are talking about.. You might need to put chains on the wheels if it's icy.

How do you engage the two wheel drive?

Asked by: Anonymous
Each wheel has a pin that can be moved to lock the wheel. Take a look at the wheel and you'll see the pin right away. Pull it out, and move it so that it locks the wheel.
