It's great for the cost, but I would not purchase this again based off the snow we get in our area or the size of my driveway. Ended up purchasing this specific model because a coworker owns it and he had a similar sized driveway. It did not live up to his hype. Despite the abnormally warm winter we had in Iowa last year, the batteries would give out before finishing my driveway and did need to go over the same area more than once to fully clear at times. Still, this is light-weight and still able to shoot snow quite a decent distance. I was able to pull this up and down my deck easily enough to get that taken care of as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Snow blower yet bad battery life After using this snow blower for a few months through several snow storms i feel i can write a fair review The snow blower itself is light weight and does a fantastic job, it will eat through snow just as fast and throw snow just as far as my small gas blower. The problem is the battery life. I get maybe 15-20 minutes of battery life before the machine shuts down. 15-20 minutes isnt enough to clear my small driveway when there is more than a few inches of snow. If the batteries lasted longer this would get 5 stars, as is i will need to order another set of batteries to be able to clear my whole driveway without waiting two hours for the batteries to charge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3rd one and it doesn’t work either. Bought one 3 years ago. It kept cutting out every 2 feet and dying. Contacted the company they told us how to reset it. Annoying, but it would work for a longer period of time. Next winter, it cut out constantly and the reset did nothing. So contacted the company and returned it. Found out we weren’t the only one in the area returning a snow joe. Got the new one too late in the season to even put it together. Put it together this year and found it had obviously been returned by someone else, and was broken. Returned got another one. It cuts out every 2 feet too. Sorry think they are crap. Now back to Snow Joe to see what they will do. Not impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Time Using An Electric Thrower This is the first electric snow thrower I have purchased. Will use it for clean up and preparing for the bigger gas model. The thrower was easy to assemble out of the box. Nice looking and durable in appearance. The battery charger worked well and was easy to use. We received two snow falls of about 6 inches since the purchase. The thrower worked well for my purpose. I blew for about 15 to 20 minutes each time. The batteries held up well for that amount of use. I have had no issues with the thrower so far. I would say it is a good product for limited use. I am sure it is not intended for long periods of heavy snow throwing. If you are looking for a light weight, easy to handle snow thrower for smaller jobs, I think this thrower would suit your needs.

Have small driveway that fits 2 cars and batteries will last long enough to get around and in between the cars. Once I go to do where the plows pushed into the driveway, the batteries die before I can finish. Heavy snow, batteries last 1/2 hour tops. Light snow, batteries last maybe 45 min to 1 hr.

How long will a fully charged battery hold that charge if not used? In other words, I charged the batteries but it never snowed. When will I need to recharge them?

I always put the battery on the charger before I need to use it. I charge the battery when I finish using it so it usually only takes about 10 minutes or less. I had not used mine since last year and it was still charged.

I've watch videos about this blower being used on different surfaces and the blower doesn't seem to remove all of the snow down to bare concrete/asphalt/pavers or grass. It looks like it leaves a thin layer of snow. Can adjustments be made?

We have had the same experience. It doesn't remove all the way to concrete but it still is way better than manually shoveling. We just put salt down after and the thin layer disappears
