Rated 1 out of 5 by from 12 cable runs - 9 had open pairs when tested We had to purchase this cable while working a customer rewire as we ran out of our original cat 6. This "cat 6" does not have the center separator. This results in the cable making smaller radius bends and turns than designed for and wires breaking. I believe the act of just pulling it out of the box ended up breaking wires. We had a 20' run with 2 cables in one instance. After termination one had 2 open pairs the other was good. We were diligent on feeding and pulling cables to ensure no tight bends or unnecessary strain. I was distraught after running new cables all day to now have to go back to the customer site and redo all this work. This has cost me hundreds of dollars in labor. I'm even replacing the 3 that tested good as I don't feel the product is trustworthy enough to handle pulling new wire along side without breaking it. Think twice before using this wire.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Works, BUT... So far, I've pulled two runs of this cable: One that's about 50' another that's about 100' -- I get about 900Mbps throughput when copying a (big) file using Windows Explorer. The cable therefore seems to work fine. Also, I was able to crimp RJ45s (the Ideal feed-through connectors) and punch-down two RJ45 keystone jacks without problem. Having said that, this has GOT to be the crappiest (working) Cat6 cable I've ever seen or used. Clearly bargain basement stuff. It looks and feels absolutely no different to me than inexpensive Cat5/5E cable. There's nothing pleasant about working with it at all: The sheathing is a thin plastic that discolors (indicating failure) with any stress, the cable kinks *super* easily when you're pulling it. The twisting of the pairs seems... weirdly uneven. The orange pair seems MORE twisted (in terms of twists per inch), the green pair, less twisted. There is no X separator inside the cable to keep the twisted pairs separate (note: despite what you might read, these *are not* required by the spec... the spec requires you to achieve a given level of crosstalk performance, and if you can achieve that without the separators, that's fine). No separator means the cable is super flexible (you decide if that's a win or not, in your situation). If I had to bury this stuff in a wall, I'd quite honestly think twice about using it. I'd fork over the extra dough and use a more premium cable. For my particular projects, it's fine: I'm installing Cat6 jacks on the first floor of my house and I'm pulling the cable through an exposed basement. So, if a run goes bad... I can just pull it out and re-run the cable just as easily as installing it the first time. You pay your money, you take your chance.
