Were committed to making things easier, both for our customers and those they serve. Thats why Southwire decided to upgrade the original ROMEX to the new and improved ROMEX SIMpull NMD90. It not only pulls 50% easier than conventional NMD but also saves a lot of time, with half the effort. In the beginning, Southwires goal was to simply improve NMD usage by making it easier to pull without increasing costs. Where they ended is a revolutionary new grade of NMD. New ROMEX SIMpull NMD90, 50% easier to pull, 100% easier on you. Southwire's ROMEX SIMpull Type NMD90 cables may be used for both exposed work in dry locations or concealed work in dry or damp locations.

  1. Southwire Romex SIMpull NMD90 is manufactured using annealed (soft) copper conductors. Compressed stranding for the stranded conductors.
  1. 90°C rated PVC insulation with a nylon jacket for the individual conductors; a PVC jacket surrounds the overall construction
  1. Minimum recommended installation temperature is minus 25°C for two-conductor cables and minus 10°C for three-conductor cables. Should be properly stored above 0°C for 24 hours prior to installation.
  1. The maximum allowable conductor temperature is 90°C.
  1. Maximum voltage rating for all intended applications is 300V.
  1. Consult the most recent Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) or a licensed electrician for further information related to applications.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst wire I have ever experienced So it’s called ‘Simpul’ and it was okay to pull but this wire (I used 8-3 for a dryer on a log run); is absolute nightmare to connect. It is difficult to strip (yes I used the proper tool) as it has a hard plastic jacket over the insulation on each wire. Bends within a box are near impossible and almost zero compression means any form of connections don’t work. Wasted 3 hours of my life trying to wire a 3 prong outlet in a box.

How to add 15 meters to the shopping cart?

Asked by: Vincenzo
It doesn't look as if there is a way of ordering other than 1 meter or 10 meters etc. after 2 years. I would like to order between 3 and 5 meters but, while there is a price per meter I see no way of ordering my quantity on line.
