Rated 5 out of 5 by from For unconventional closet sizes, a turnkey fix. I bought these because I would have had to cut multiple bi-fold doors and mount floor hardware for those. These doors fit a range without any special adjustment. They also mount to only the sides and top of the closet frame. (Great if your floor is concrete, or high end flooring.) The only caveat is that if any part of your frame lacks a stud you'll need anchors. (No big deal, but important to keep the closet from tearing out.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Works great! Was a little difficult to install but it was all figured out. Bought this to separate two cats and separate upstairs from downstairs (bi-level). The magnets seem strong enough that both cats haven’t been able to open it (so far at least, have only had it for a month)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These are not made of wood When we ordered these online the description of the material was listed as wood. When they came they are actually made of some type of shiny plastic veneer type stuff. We will be returning them for this reason. I think the material description has been updated online now so should be all good but just letting people know in case you think they’re wood that they are not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to install, decent quality, works great. The tracking on my sliding door between my back entry way and my kitchen fell apart. There's no way to repair it except with a major reno. This folding door became my 'quick fix' for that problem. It is lightweight and, after reading the instructions, I was able to install it by myself in about an hour - and I am NOT handy! The most difficult part was installing the plastic clips to hold the non-opening side of the door to the door frame. In the instructions it almost sounds like you're supposed to install the "closure panel" on that side, but it really means to use it just as a template to know where to drill your holes for the screw clips. I ended up drilling the top two holes using the closure panel's holes, then measured the distance from the centre of the two screw holes and the distance of the centre of the two holes from the edge of my door frame to drill the remaining three holes. The only thing I had some trouble with was nicking the material a bit with my drill - the material gets damaged very easily, so be careful. Other than that, the door was simple to install, looks great, and works perfect.

How can I cut the length?? 2 inches longer than my door. Thank you

Asked by: nono
There are detailed instructions inside the package. Carefully, remove and store all screws from the bottom of the door. I would suggest using some painters tape to keep the folded door held together and prevent any movement. Measure and mark the length that you desire. Then cut the door to that length using a hack saw, or similar sharp tool. Replace all screws at the bottom, the holes should be visible after cutting - take a picture before removing the screws if concerned.

i have a den with a concrete opening and planning to put an accordion door. is the oakmont 36 by 80 fine? the measurement of our den opening is 48 inches wide and 79.9 height. Should i need 2 sets of this product?

Asked by: mie90
Hi mie90, Yes, This should work. The door can be trimmed to the height that you require. Based on the opening you require, you can find various sizes which might work better to fit your opening.

How do you trim it?

Asked by: Wendy
The bi fold door sits on the inside of the door way and the trimming is done as you would do a normal door

Any chance this could be carefully painted?  Just got mine and it absolutely needs to be white. I’d call it a wood patterned cream/taupe.

Asked by: Jenny
Chances are it will not keep the paint as the folds in the door will move a lot and flake over time.. Mine is inside a plain white frame and you get used to it.

I have a opening under the stairs in the basement, the size is around 26 1/2 inch x 75 1/2inch, it is not trimed yet. I am wandering if this 24 x 80inch (24-inch to 36-inch Oakmont Frost White Accordion Bifold Door) can fit into this opening. Thanks.

Asked by: wesley
Hello, The opening must be as close as possible to the item size. The track is 36", so you require at least 36" width. The height can easily be trimmed to your needs. Thank you,

Hi there, can we cut it, my height is 72"

Asked by: brahim
This can be cut. It’s annoying, but it can be done. A power tool is advised, I can’t imagine how long it would take to do it otherwise.

Can these doors lock together

Asked by: jody
I'm not positive, but I don't think so. I don't think that the magnets will stick together. If they should stick together, I'm not sure how great it would look. Also, if you have pets, and are trying to keep them out they would come undone very easily. With just my one door, my cat just hits it with her feet and it pops open.
