The Pre-mounting Plate from SPEX Lighting is a comprehensive installation solution for helping rough in electrical in a new-construction or open joist setting. Constructed of galvanized steel, this 4¼ " round opening pre-mounting plate is used to mount 4" fixtures. The plate includes mounting holes and tracks to satisfy any type of installation. Alignment notches on plate to help aligning multiple plates.

  1. Incriment markers make for perfectly aligned lighting every time
  1. Includes metal clip to secure SPEX Driver and allow it to be easily accessible from fixture hole

Halo New Construction Housing for Non Insulated Ceilings-4 Inch Aperture

The H99T is our most popular aperture size. This housing is designed for non insulated new construction applications. It accepts a wide range of trim styles and finishes (sold separately). It also features an integral thermal protector to guard against misuse or improper lamping. This housing has the following features to speed up installation time; pre-installed bar hangers with regressed nail and self levelling feature, slide-n-side junction box allows for the wiring connections to be done outside, pre-installed push in wire connectors for faster electrical connections and pass-n-through bar hangers allow the mounting bars to be shorten without removing them. This shallow housing is only 5-1/2 inches in height, allows for use in minimum 2 x 6 inch joist construction.
