Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Recommended The first time I used this the blade ejection assembly jammed after a day's use, so I returned it and got another one. That one jammed because they put the stupid plastic display card inside the assembly and when I cut that off, a piece o0f the vinyl remained inside, so it was unusable. So I took it apart, but Stanley provides no info anywhere on how to reassemble it--it's not obvious or easy. My Dad used Stanley tools in the 50s, and I followed, but they're made in Thailand now--we're done!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Putting Blade in and out Unable to put blade in properly took it apart to put blade in that way and it was so tight like the blade was to big. Need better quality controls.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from FATMAX Frustrating Sorry Stanley but your instructions showing how one is to load the blade is basically half-assed. I will be returning the knife.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK once you've learned its secrets I bought this utility knife last summer and gave up using it for the task I bought it for because I could not figure how to get the tough plastic hang tag/label out of the thumb control slot and blade slot. Today I just pulled hard and it cracked into three sharp shards which then slipped out of the various slots--but made reading the use instructions on the back a puzzle challenge. Not a problem though, since what they seemed to be telling me to do wasn't working. After an hour of on and off attempts, all unsuccessful, Youtube to the rescue. I will say inserting the blade takes a bit of fiddling and some pressure, which makes it a little dangerous since the blade is of course pointy and sharp along the one edge. Shame on Stanley for reimagining the basic utility knife but withholding clear instructions for its use. I'm sure frustrating customers is not their goal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid this piece of chit When it's brand new the blade change out is great. After using it, not exposing it to any corrosive elements, it becomes a giant piece of chit when trying to change the blade out. Don't buy this product. Avoid it.
