The 18mm QUICK SNAP STANLEY FATMAX cutter has a unique blade breaker mechanism that allows you to have an always sharp blade quickly, easily and safely. No more need to use another tool to break the blade! When the blade is dull, simply place the top of the blade along the line symbolizing the correct location and activate the blade breaker mechanism. The used segment is then instantly broken and a magnet retains it to prevent injury.
