Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware!!!!!!!! paint on your food I have used this grill for 6 months and now the paint on the inside of the lid is coming off and sticking to the food. I contacted stok and they will NOT HELP me. they said the paint landing on the food is not their problem. Even though the grill has a 2 year warranty. I GUESS IT GOES IN THE TRASH NOW!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low quality, 1 year fell apart Great design, low quality materials. Is this why it's discontinued? Was looking forward to at least 3 years but 1 1/2 years is not a bargain even if it is designed well. In the end I have to say it is junk as it completely fell apart. The grill broke away from the stand. Ash starter bucket is trashed. Etc.... :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from good idea just very cheaply made the concept of this grill is good. but all the parts are very cheaply made. within the first month and after using only 4 times the handle broke.....I dropped the grill grate on the lawn and it broke in half. this year im buying a new charcoal grill and throwing this one in the trash. Handle on the paper holder is about to break also. very disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grill for cooking and smoking I've used my tower all summer, at least twice a week, and it's fantastic. Being a woodworker, I have lots of hardwood scraps, so I burn nothing but wood—why buy charcoal when you've already got wood? I also cut some oak and cherry pieces from downed trees. Not only do I get a great, hot fire to cook when I want it, or coals when the fire dies down, but I also get the ability to add natural wood smoke. Cooking without the lid minimizes the smoke if you want to do that, but putting the lid in place really adds the smoke flavoring to meat. Be careful to use appropriate woods with your meat. For example, cherry goes great with anything, but oak, hickory, and walnut impart stronger flavor that's best with beef. What I love best about this grill is that it lights so quickly. I just stuff wadded-up newspaper in the basket below, and then put small scraps to get the fire started, usually takes just a minute. I did have to add a second grate to keep coals from dropping through, placed perpendicular to the original grate. I'm not real big on the pizza stone, but the other inserts work well. I like that I can have a fire wherever I want it inside the grill, very clever. I like this one so much I haven't used my gas grill all summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really neat design with a ton of features for a small price I was considering the Weber and the Stok but when you start comparing features, the Stok wins by a good margin. I thought the interchangeable grills was possibly a cheap gimmick feature but it works wonderfully. It was easy to put together. It's incredibly sturdy. The replacement grills for different things are inexpensive. What's not to love? It's a fantastic grill and worth the money and then some. We've done steaks, burgers, and chicken and all were perfect. The wife is making some pizza dough and we'll be using the included pizza stone soon. We love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grill is fantastic! have on deck. easy to roll. Holds heat very well thermometer accurate Have the pedestal grill a couple of months. We use the grill at least three times per week. We've done everything from hot dogs to a roast. We've grilled vegies, baked potatoes, corn on the cob; take out the center and sauté vegies in a pan that fits the hole. We take the out center and use a conventional wok for stir frying using the outer ring to hold finished food s warm. We've had no problems with the enamel chipping as some reviewers mentioned. The set-up time was a little over an hour. Purchased the cover with the grill. To date, it is in great shape and protects the surface from the birds and weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to light without lighter fuel The grill got to house I was told and it was easy to put together it took a little over a hour. I had a gas grill for over 20 years because of the ease of lighting it. But this stok is as easy as the gas. Love the grill. !!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love this barbeque. The tall height makes it easy to cook. The cast iron grill cooks well and is easy to clean. The fire lighting container works very well. We owned this Stok Tower Grill in Los Angeles and were disappointed that Home Depot no longer stocks it.
