Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burnt out in 6 months -no response for warranty I bought these in May 2020 and by November 2020, some bulbs were already burnt out. Connected with HomeDepot chat who told me to connect with the Strak company for warranty replacement, and they just will not respond. Don't buy anything from them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't last. Seller doesn't respond. Bought these Dec 2017. It was great while it lasted. 2/4 burnt out by Dec 2019. Supposingly comes with 5 year warranty but company never responds. DO NOT BUY!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bulbs do not last They look good when working but bulbs don't last the claimed 50 000 hrs. Mine lasted between 1yr to 2.5yrs and after 2.5yrs, 6 of the 8 don't work anymore, using maybe for a few hours each day. Customer service from Strak is horrible. 1st time they wouldn't repalce them without me paying for shipping back the defective bulbs (I eventually won that battle & didn't pay for shipping) and the second time, no response at all. Don't buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Strak is unreliable These bulbs don’t last and when emailing and speaking with the customer service rep Rahyl for replacements under their 5 year warranty, he does not follow up nor does he replace the bulbs. I have 2 out of 4 bulbs working.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok bulbs, but not great. Delivery is slow — website said delivery in 5-7 days, but it actually closer to a month. Not Home Depot’s fault, as the bulbs are from an external vendor. The bulb light is definitely not warm white, but more like mid-range. The bulbs themselves do not cast much light downwards, so in our ceiling fixture they are not nearly as bright as the halogen bulbs they replaced. After 6 months of use, all are still working and there is no flicker — but sure to have an LED compatible dimmer installed.

To those whose bulbs did not last long, I would ask if you were careful not to touch bare bulbs with bare fingers? I have had mine for only four months, so I can't say for sure, but no problems so far, using them a couple of hours a day.

An electrician told me that and the instructions for the original G9 Halogen bulbs said the same thing. Maybe it does not apply to LED's.
