Interlude shades are a modernized and more cost efficient alternative to horizontal blinds or shutters. The 2 layers of fabric have alternating vane types; sheer and solid. This particular roller shade boasts 5" black out vanes as the solid portion. The 2 layers of fabric move independantly allowing the solid vanes to overlap with each other, providing control over the amount of light coming in. The solid vanes have subtle highlights creating a textured and elegant look. This fabric is also included in the insert found in the curved valance. The curved valance and bottom hem bar are made from sturdy aluminum giving the shade an upscale and clean finish. Ideal for any room, these shades are often found in livingrooms due to their regal appearance and bedrooms as the solid vanes contribute to darkening the environment for a peaceful night sleep.
