Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Well This is a great addition to the lawnmower once you figure out how it goes on. The instructions to install the discharge chute are terrible. I ended up calling Snowjoe support to figure this thing out. They were very helpful. So now it is installed, and beats having to put the mulching bag on all the time. For those that want to install the discharge chute, Remove the battery from the lawnmower, safety first, then lift the door, point the narrow handle to the sky, then push it in To the opening until the large part covers the bottom hole and you can’t see to the ground. Then close the door, reinstall the battery and cut your lawn. Hope this helps.

Once I discovered that correct installation includes drilling a small hole for a screw to position and hold this attachment in place for optimum performance, I was very satisfied with this mulching device as it works great, no more bagging for me! 4 stars here instead of 5 for no mention of any drilling or screw placement in the directions. Good luck!
